I help companies turn specific ideas and problems into working websites, applications and automated processes. I work on my own, so from the first brief through to launch you deal directly with me.

How I got here#

I studied Software Engineering at a technical secondary school — I understand databases, APIs and how systems fit together. These days I use AI tools as part of development: they speed up writing code and finding bugs, but I still have to know what needs to be built and how to put it together into something that works — that is where my value is. I started with websites, but companies more often need a specific problem solved than just a new website, so today I combine a website, an application or system and automation depending on what is actually needed.

Work that is not in the portfolio#

I have built a number of websites, applications and automations as work for companies — they were made for a specific client, so I cannot show them publicly here. In a call I am happy to describe the kinds of problems I have solved and how I got to the solution.

How I work#

First I want to know what the process looks like today and what is wrong with it — technology comes after that, and when a ready-made tool would do, I say so. During development I keep showing how it is growing, because feedback in the middle is cheaper than at the end. And I do not build complex technology just because I can.
